MKT 110 - Retailing

Description: This course is a study of the importance of retailing in American business and covers the concepts of store location, layout, merchandising, display, pricing, inventory control, promotional programs and profit management.

Prerequisite(s): Take ENG 032, MAT 100 and RDG 100 with minimum grade of C.

The retailing environment
Location analysis
Management of retail operations
Retail administration
New store proposals

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
