RAD 205 - Radiographic Pathology Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 0 Clinical Hours: 0 Credits: 2
Description: This course provides a survey of disease processes significant to the radiographer, including etiology, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.
Prerequisite(s): Take RAD 121 , RAD 268 and RAD 283 with a minimum grade of C.

- Disease Processes of the Musculoskeletal System
- Disease Processes of the Respiratory System
- Disease Processes of the Abdomen and Hepatobiliary System
- Disease Processes of the Digestive System
- Disease Processes of the Cardiovascular System
- Disease Processes of the Central Nervous System
- Disease Processes of the Genitourinary System

- Describe the general principles and terms of pathology.
- Classify diseases, definitions, etiology, treatment, and prognosis along with radiographic procedures or examination and diagnosis for diseases relating to:
- Musculoskeletal system
- Respiratory system
- Abdominal and Hepatobiliary system
- Gastrointestinal system
- Genitourinary system
- Central Nervous System
- Cardiovascular
- Describe the radiographic appearance of diseases of each body system.
- Identify the appropriate technical changes required to best demonstrate each pathological condition.
- Research a specific pathology for written and radiographic presentation.
