The Spartanburg Community College Foundation exists to benefit and enhance the mission of Spartanburg Community College with support from a wide range of partners including local business and industry, private Foundations, and individual donors.
Advancing the lives and careers of SCC students is core to our mission. The Foundation provides critical resources that have a direct impact on the success of our students with scholarships, emergency funds, and gap coverage for textbooks and supplies. We also play a vital role in the college’s workforce development network by working with Career Services to connect current students and alumni the businesses that need them. By leveraging the power of our partnerships to develop innovative, relevant programming, novel learning experiences, continuing education opportunities for instructors, and internship and apprenticeships for in-demand skills and careers the SCC Foundation helps Spartanburg Community College to stay on the cutting edge where economic need meets economic development.
